Kurzfassung :Flora and Vegetation in 15 villages in Sachsen-Anhalt are investigated. Altogether 569 vascular plant species are found. 189 of them occur with high frequency, that means in 61% or more of the investigated villages. The most important structure or microhabitat for the occurence of species are the cemeteries and the streets and free places in the villages. Plant communities of the classes Polygono-Poetea annuae, Stellarietea mediae, Artemisietea vulgaris and Molinio-Arrhenatheretea are documented. Measures to preserve the village flora and Vegetation are given.
